| NIV] The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. |

| NIV] Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the Lord, but they will not find it. |

| NIV]'' How can you say,' We are wise, for we have the law of the Lord,' when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? |

| NIV] Yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. |
