| NIV] Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. |

| NIV] Cover their faces with shame so that men will seek your name, O Lord. |

| NIV] Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I am going to bring such disaster on Jerusalem and Judah that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle. |

| NIV] They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. |

| NIV] Look, their brave men cry aloud in the streets; the envoys of peace weep bitterly. |

| NIV] Then he laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as the Lord instructed through Moses. |
