1.visit的基本意思是“访问某人或某地”,即“访问”“探望”“参观”“视察”“逗留”“出诊”,指因为礼节、友谊、生意或职责的需要而来到某人处并短时间地与其呆在一起,也可指较长时间地以客人身份在某人家里或所去休息、娱乐、观光的地方居住。引申为“(疾病、灾害等)侵袭”“降临”“惩罚”“施加报复或报应”。
2.visit既可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时,接名词、代词作宾语。可用于被动结构。
