1.verify的基本意思是“以结果、事件或实现、完成某事来证实对某事物的怀疑、恐惧或可能性、有效性”。或者以对比的方法来证实某事物的真实性与准确性,即“证明”“证实”“核实”“查清”。
2.verify是及物动词,可接名词、that从句作宾语。可用于被动结构。
