1.stitch的基本意思是“缝”。引申可作“和解”解。
2.stitch可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时接名词或代词作宾语。
3.stitch后接副词up表示“缝合”“言归于好”。

If the wound is stitched up skillfully, it will hardly leave a mark.如果伤口缝合得好,不会落下什么伤疤。
