1.sense用作名词是“感官,感觉”的意思,转化为动词作“隐约感觉到; 意识到; 发觉”解,强调通过直觉而产生,不可与表示清晰感觉的词如冷、暖、快乐等连用。
2.在美国口语中, sense可作“领会”“发觉”“认识”解。
3.sense是及物动词,接名词、代词、that从句,或疑问词引导的从句作宾语; 还可接“to be+n./adj.”或现在分词充当宾语补足语的复合宾语。

Fire gives a sensation of warmth.火给人以温暖的感觉。
I don't like to hurt his feeling.我不愿意伤害他的感情。
