1.pound的基本意思是“连续地击打”,可指人击打对手,也可指海浪等“连续地拍打海岸”,还可指“心连续地跳”。
2.pound可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时,可接名词、代词作宾语,也可接以形容词或介词短语充当补足语的复合宾语。
