1.omit的基本意思是“省略”“遗漏”“删掉”,常指因疏忽、不注意或未注于某一细节而省去、删去整体中的一部分。引申可表示“忘记做”。是正式用语。
2.omit只用作及物动词,接名词、动名词或动词不定式作宾语。
3.omit接动名词或动词不定式所表示的意思相同,只是英式英语中常接动词不定式,在美式英语中常接动名词。
4.omit的过去式、过去分词均为omitted。
