1.hum的基本意思是“发出嗡嗡声,哼”,发出的声音可以是悦耳的,也可以是吵闹的,其发出者可以是人,也可以是别的发声体。hum还有“忙碌,活跃”之意。
2.hum可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,后可接名词或代词作宾语,也可接由动词不定式充当补足语的复合宾语。
3.hum的过去式和过去分词均为hummed。
