1.favour的基本意思是喜爱或偏爱某人或某物,作此解时,没有比较的含义。引申可表示“赞同”“有利于”。
2.favour作“容貌像”解时,只能用于父母,而且仅限于双亲中的一个。
3.favour只用作及物动词,可接名词、代词作宾语。也可接介词with表示“取悦,满足”; 接over表示“偏爱…而不喜欢…”。
