1.exercise的基本含义是反复地进行某一动作或一系列动作,以发展和加强某种能力,尤指为了身体健康或精力充沛而进行的活动。引申可表示“运用”“行使”或“实行”“执行”等。
2.exercise可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,接名词或代词作宾语。
3.exercise作“练习”解时,其后常接“反身代词+in+n./v-ing”,其主语既是动作的执行者,又是动作的承受者。
