1.evacuate的基本意思是“撤离”“疏散”,指某人从通常是危险地方撤出。
2.evacuate用作不及物动词时,主语一般为“撤出”这一动作的发出者,用作及物动词时,其宾语一般为撤出的地区,也可为被撤出的人(通常是老弱病残者或战时的平民)。
