1.envisage的基本意思是“想象”“设想”,这个“想象”“设想”可能是非常清楚的,因而感到某事物就在眼前。
2.envisage作“想象”“设想”解时是及物动词,可接名词、动名词或that从句作宾语,也可接以现在分词充当补足语的复合宾语。
3.envisage作“面对”解时,用作及物动词,可接名词或代词作宾语。
4.envisage是英国人喜欢用的词,而美国人常用另外一个词envision表示相同的意思。
