1.enable是及物动词,基本意思是“使之能够”“使有能力”,主要指为某人做某事提供方法或机会。常接以动词不定式作补足语的复合宾语,而宾语常为人或有生命的东西。
2.enable还可作“使…成为可能”“有助于”解,其后常接名词或代词作宾语。
