1.collide的基本意思是“(使)撞击”,表示由于一种明显的,常常是破坏性的力量或被动而引起的不同程度的直接冲撞或相互碰撞。引申则可表示两种思想、观点、利益等严重分歧或明显对立。
2.collide只用作不及物动词,常与介词with连用,表示“与…相撞”“与…相冲突”。
