1.area的基本意思是“面积”,此时是不可数名词,指物体表面的范围或量度或某一量度的表面。泛指“地区”时,没有固定界限,可大可小。当用作“区域”解时,可指财政、经济、科学等领域。用于比喻则可指意见、个人生活、处理人际关系等方面。
