1.alternative用作名词时意思是“取舍,抉择,可供选择的事物”,指在两个或两个以上的人或事物中所作出选择的行为; 也可指在两个或两个以上的人或事物中可供“选择的余地,可供选择的机会”。
2.alternative一般用于两者间的选择,即二者择一,但有时也可用several等词修饰。
