| NIV] Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous. |

| NIV]' Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her. |

| NIV] He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord. |

| NIV] Listen to me, O Lord; hear what my accusers are saying! |

| NIV] They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers are full of boasting. |

| NIV] Then he laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as the Lord instructed through Moses. |

| NIV] Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the Lord, but they will not find it. |

| The man who is lord over the land spoke harshly to us and treated us as though we were spying on the land. |

| NIV] and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it. |
